三年前，《如烟》令我惋惜人生的短暂，当一切结束时，往事如烟。
三年后，《乾杯》令我觉得人生虽短，但要活得精彩。

新年－大扫除

我们华人有一个的传统习俗－每一年都会在农历新年前大扫除。

离家多年以来第一次认真的整理房间，发现到本人还真的很会收垃圾。

大部分的“收藏品”都拿去丢了，剩下的是不可能丢弃的$$。

陪伴了我超过二十年的扑满，里头还是满的哦！

有谁还记得它呢？

陈旧的Public Bank logo。

小学时用的铅笔盒，竟然装满了硬币。多年不见的金盾（RM1）硬币，如今应该是毫无价值了吧。

整理房间时，还陆陆续续的发现许多“珍宝”像是中学时代的作业，Kemahiran Hidup的project（木制的书架），多啦A梦漫画（小学时代买的），未完成的拼图（童军时代幸运抽奖得到的－以丢弃），Star Wars Episode1 海报（曾经令我疯狂一时的巨作－已经被漏水的屋顶侵蚀 T_T）等等。不惊佩服一个小小的房间竟然可以容纳一座垃圾山。

自从大学以来，每一年都会将上个学期的参考书，笔记，试卷等等都带回家。（通常都是pass给学弟／学妹们，无奈的是本人竟然连一个学弟／学妹都不认识。）今年，终于狠下心肠把所有的笔记都丢了。整理了大半天才发现我真的读了很多书（o.O），整整六年的笔记加起来应该有几十公斤吧！

2012 －龙年，大扫除终于告一段落。

五月天《第二人生》- Now Here 明日版入手

2012年送给自己的第一份礼物 - 五月天的最新专辑《第二人生》- Now Here 明日版。
非常感谢AP小姐千里迢迢从台湾帮我带回来了这份礼物。

明日版的包装是一个可封闭透明塑胶袋。

里头装有一张《第二人生》专辑加上五月天公仔一个。

另一张末日版的赠品是“五月天舟游护照”，本人对护照没什么兴趣所以就选择了明日版。

专辑售价是新台币499，约马币50。
到目前为止我还不知道本地的售价，毕竟太久没有购买正版专辑了。（paiseh）
听说本地版本好像是送海报，只有限量的台湾进口版本才有公仔(T_T)。（再次感谢AP小姐）

封套上附有《第二人生》的歌词（附歌部分）

明日版的CD颜色是带有荧光的橘色。

好久没有式着拿着歌词听CD了。

其实明日版最吸引我的地方是随专辑附送的五月天公仔（没有公仔就应该不会买咯 :p）。每张CD都会随机赠送一个五月天公仔，当然如果想收集一套的话就必须购买《好友版》 - 5张CD + 5个公仔。虽然真的很想收集全套公仔，但5张CD本人实在是无福消受。

在打开小盒子时，真的很期待里面的是阿信公仔。

在五月天里最喜欢的就是阿信，非常欣赏他作的词。

呵呵~~非常幸运的，本人抽到了阿信公仔 (^_^)v 。

鞋底印有《相信音乐》的logo。

Google have just launched the Chromebook recently and they are indeed pushing it for the coming holiday season.
Err.. wouldn't it a bit too late for a Chromebook while the market is full of tablets ?

Well looking at the specs, I don't think I'll be interested to get any of the models. An iPad looks more promising in this case.

However the promotion videos look really hilarious ...

It was a pretty tiring weekend since there were a lot of preparations to be done before the wedding day.

工作四年来经历了许多离别，渐渐的仿佛就只剩下自己在独自奋斗。

这几年来与自己并肩作战的队友都逐渐离开, 找寻另一片天地。

其实在经历了许多离别后，面对着身边朋友的离职已经感到麻木了。

几乎每个月都收到道别的电邮。

今天又再次面对离别，不同的是这次是一位无论在职场或人生道路上都可以给我某些启发的良师益友。

这几年来，真的很感谢这一位可以分享快乐与痛苦的好友。

离别总是离不开伤感，奇怪的是我却抱着祝福的心情来欢送他。

或许是年纪大了吧，身边的许多事物都不再执著。

缘起缘灭本来就是世间的真理，有离别才会期待重聚。

下一次的重聚，大家都应该有所成长吧。

缘起缘灭 - 不一样的心情

四年前-续篇

在台湾整个夏天最红的电影应该就是九把刀执导的《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》，目前已经有超过三亿的票房了。我是超幸运的有机会在台湾观赏这部电影。

最初接触九把刀的作品是《楼下的房客》，一部以都市病态为题材的超级变态小说。过后才发觉他的作品非常的多，而且类型非常广，是一个很有才华以及无限创作力的小说家。
《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》是九把刀的众多作品当中最受欢迎、最畅销的作品。但是我并没看过这本小说，毕竟不是那么喜欢爱情系列的小说。

我花了260元台币（约马币28零吉）来看这部电影呢。原因不是为了看陈妍希（若不是看了这部电影，我还不认识她呢-虽然她笑起来的酒窝的却会电死人），更加不可能是在电影里经常裸露的柯正东（我还没那么变态！）。最主要的原因就是导演是九把刀, 想看看这个疯狂作家是如何拍摄他的初恋。

260元台币一点都不贵！！

《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》的剧情对我来说很写实。
“每個男孩心中都有一個沈佳宜” - 这句话勾起了许许多多的回忆。
令我回想起年少时的轻狂与幼稚的心态，为了喜欢的女生所做过的蠢事。而当时的我却以为这是理所当然的事。确实的每個男孩心中都有一個沈佳宜，身边也有许多的例子。但是当中能够拥有美满结局的却是寥寥可数。

在台湾时也购买了九把刀的电影创作本《再一次相遇》。
当初是以为这是《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》电影版小说，过后才发现内容是提及九把刀在执导这部电影的点点滴滴。当然当中也穿插了一些作者的梦想以及对沈家宜的执着。当然，最大的执著与梦想就是拍了《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》这部电影来献给沈家宜。书名《再一次相遇》意味着作者用电影打造了时光机，只为了和喜欢的女生再一次相遇，弥补当年的一些遗憾。

《再一次相遇》也同时唤回了一些被遗忘得的梦想。那些梦想既幼稚而且不写实，犹如吃喝玩乐的小事一椿，毫无意义。可是“意义”的定义却又非常的模糊，过去几年在职场上打拼，到头来并没有为自己带来什么有“意义”的事情。往好方面想，一份稳定的收入不至于饿死，经济上不至于给家里带来什么不便。但是如果要在自己人生上画上某些成就或里程碑的话，又好像是毫无成就可言。最后，或许回顾以前充满干劲的自己会带来心境上某程度的转变。如果没任何意外的话，今年十二月将重游四年前放弃第一个梦想的地方。真的很期待到时候会有怎样的心情呢，是否可以找回四年前在背包客栈曾经留下的那一份心情呢？

本来已经写好了一篇《我心中的沈佳宜》，可是觉得好想透露得太多私隐了，所以暂时收起来；或许会在今年年尾的旅程结束后在放上部落格吧。

找寻四年前的自己

已经蛮久没有在部落格上长篇大论了。回想起四年前的我无论是任何题材，像看过的日剧，日韩流行音乐，正在玩的游戏，看过的电影，有趣的视频，生活上的一些琐碎事情都post在部落格上。当初觉得写部落格非常好玩，就像拥有了一个任你自由发挥的空间来抒发自己的心情。

渐渐的，我好像开始有点厌倦了。去年当我决定关闭《点点滴滴》后，就连记录着每天的心情故事的空间都放弃了。近来迷上了摄影，偶尔还会上载一些拍摄的照片。或许是忙碌的生活令我渐渐忽略了一个曾经令我雀跃的地方；也或许是年纪大了，令我不再对部落格产生兴趣；再加上Facebook的强大功能，部落格的地位好像已经被取代了。

今天阅读了从台湾买回来的一本书刊后，我忽然很想再次回顾记录在《点点滴滴》里面过去三年的心情（至于是哪一本书，答案将在下一篇post中揭晓）。非常遗憾的是所有的内容都已经被删除了。印象中之前就算部落格关闭后，笔者还是可以预览当中的内容。可是不知道什么时候，该系统已经被更改。记得去年回顾着《点点滴滴》的心情故事时，都会不经意的嘲笑自己当年的想法以及行为。从第一篇到读到最后一篇，每一篇都记录着自己的成长经历，当中总是可以找到一些需要自我反省的地方。

目前的我并没打算要重开《点点滴滴》，只是想尽量的将自己的心情以及经历记录在demonsbane00。当然并不是所有的心情故事都会发布在部落格上（总要保留某程度的私隐吧）。
希望在post list 里面不会出现太多的Draft。

感觉上还蛮不错，其实我也差不多做到了

现在的我：

早上期待闹钟故障，太早响了
上班时，期待午餐
午餐时，期待下班
下班时，期待晚餐
每一天，每一天
都好想在一直在重复
每一天的结束，期待可以睡久一些
至于目标，感觉上实在是太缥缈了
有时候甚至不懂得如何跨出下一步

真的好像有点迷失了
两个月前的决定，真的对吗？
无论如何，已经没有后悔的余地了
接下来只能尽量改变心境，继续走下去...

Pulau Aman 2011

最近都很懒的更新部落格，趁着深夜睡不着来分享一下上个周末到Pulau Aman 时拍的照片。

既然是渔村当然少不了渔船， errr ... 着几艘都应该不是吧。（感觉上渔船应该会比较大艘）

刚踏入渡头就看见了“揾食咖撑” - 渔网。

到达Pulau Aman 的首要任务：吃当地出名的 Mi Udang。Restoran Terapung 也是其特色之一。

由于太饿了，所以只记得吃而忘了数到底有多少只虾。
价钱方面可是蛮贵的哦，没记错的话，一盘biasa 的mi udang 大概是RM5.00。而Special的大概是RM10。两者之间其实并没有任何明显的差别，只不过是Special的看起来分量比较大而以。
（建议叫两盘比较划算）

至于味道如何呢？
我永远都相信“只要饿了，不管什么食物都可以是美食”。 :p

在岛上到处可见的贝壳。

友族传统的建筑物，忘了叫什么名字 paiseh .... 在马来甘榜都很普遍。

Mengkuang Dam - 最後の夕阳

As reported in the press, Mengkuang Dam will be closed from 1st Aug 2011 for 5 years for construction. One of my friend was asking if I wanted to take some snapshots over there before the dam is closed. The answer is definitely yes since I've never been there before and would like to learn some landscape shooting from this sifu.

Here is my 1st sunset shooting at Mengkuang Dam. Basically it could be the last 1 as well since I couldn't tell for sure if I'm still in Penang 5 years later :p. Therefore, I name it "最後の夕阳" meaning the last sunset ^.^ . (Hope it is not too fake after the tuning)

Monkey Beach 2011

Finally decided to upload some photos taken during the last visit to Monkey Beach over the weekend.
My first time visit to Monkey Beach was last year before CNY. I had some really bad experience over there such as being ambushed by monkeys and assaulted by jelly fish (>.<).

The 2nd time visit, which took place last week was much better.
No monkeys (^.^), our Gardenia breads were secured all the way. Thanks KC for guarding it all the way.
No jelly fish (Of course, no more swimming this time :p)
However, it started to rain right after we reached the seaside o.O.

周末前的聚餐 (^.^)
朋友们突然想在放工后聚餐，平时放工后都没什么节目的我当不会错过，乘机也想参观下旧同事的新房子。
下午购买材料时，同事就嘀咕着必须早点出发因为要帮忙准备食物。结果我竟然创下2011唯一一次早到的记录 --- 而且还是最早到。不擅长烹饪的我只好充当菜鸟摄影师，拍摄当晚的点点滴滴 (^.^)v.

I was told that this is one of the main criteria for creativity and innovation.
I always believe that this is also one of the most critical criteria for an engineer.
After 9 months blending in the new environment, everything seems to be so bored.
Everything is well constraint within "boxes" ie. procedures, schedule, documentation, bla bla bla....
Life is so boring and mess up with all these stuffs.
I still couldn't figure how an engineer can actually bring himself/herself to the next level in this type environment.
Please do not expect your employee to think outside the box when you don't even allow a single idea against the normal practice to flow through.
I'm so sick of this !!!!!!!

Finally got it working on LAN.... The next thing will be configuring the router for remote access... o(^▽^)o

The control can be tedious especially when u need to right click or use the keyboard default function button. Sometimes u need to bring up the windows on screen keyboard as well... But it is a freeware so dun expect much from it ..

I got myself an iPad right before Christmas last year. Just wanna have a feel on blogging through iPad. Well I would say it is not that convenient to do so. There are a lot of limitations to it :

1) Uploading picture - it is not as straight forward as using a laptop or net book. The browse button that can be found on various photo sharing website is not working here on iPad, not even blogger is supported (>_<).

2) To paste a HTML / embed image in the blog content - first of all I dunno how to do it, the paste option just won't pops up even if I hold my finger on screen forever ( pls let me know if anyone has the solution to it )

3) Not able to compile your post in the "compose" mode - it keeps saying that I need the latest version of safari / firefox / web browser in order to do so... ( no firefox on iPad - curse apple :p )

These really sucks !!! Well eventually it leads me to search for some useful tips online. So the sifu taught me to leverage with some blogging and photo uploading apps from the apps store. BlogPress is one of the apps and it cost me $2.99. At least finally I can start blogging from my iPad now and of course do my photo uploading here ... For the 1st photo uploaded blogger - my boarding pass which I saved as picture on my iPad and scanned in the airport for boarding. It is. Kind of weird to scan the iPad though.. :p

The resolution sucks ... seems like need to learn more on resizing it before upload ..

Chinatown - SG

I had spent my last weekend in Singapore to attend my friend's wedding dinner.
It has been more than 3 years since the last time meeting with all my uni's friends. It was fun to finally meet up with them.

I've stayed in Chinatown for the weekend. The place just reminded me of Petaling Street in KL.
Some snap shots before my camera run out of battery (curse myself for forgetting to charge the battery >"<)

Coming out from the MRT station, the place is quite happening even during the daytime.

The lanterns, booths, crowds, all these resemble Petaling Street in KL.

Something that is not so similar to Petaling Street, the miniature lions used in lion dance are quite common in Chinatown. Perhaps the tourists may find them interesting and unique for souvenirs but definitely not for me.

I quit using these brushes since elementary school .. hehe..

Antiques...

Cheongsam or 旗袍 are one of the common stuff can be seen everywhere within Chinatown.

Found this piece of junk outside of the restaurant, not really sure what is it.

"客栈" the traditional way to call a hotel / inn. Love the sign board.

This is one of my favorite, "人在江湖，身不由己". It simply means you are forced to do something that you are not willing to due to certain circumstances. So does it imply that I have to dine in your restaurant even tough I do not want to ? .. hehe

I did get a chance to visit one of the temple nearby - "佛牙寺".

The lighting was poor inside the temple, anyway still get some snap shots of it.

An Indian / Tamil temple, the main entrance was closed (>"<).

For the last photo, found this "ang mo" posing outside of the temple. Hope he did not notice that I was shooting at him :p

Korea 2010 - part 3

Part 3 of the trip.
After visiting the Gyeongbokgung We spent some time in "The National Folk Museum of Korea" (Finally remember the name :p). It is located on the ground of the Gyeongbokgung, built during the Joseon period (1392 - 1910). It exhibits the how the commoners and nobles lived in the traditional times.

The museum itself consists of 3 main exhibition halls, each told " The History of Korea", "The Korea Way of Life", and the "Life Cycle of Koreans". There is also a Children's Museum and Open-air Exhibition. I'm not sure why they do not allow camera's flash light in the exhibition hall, so please bear with the poor picture quality.

The Exhibition Hall I started with the history of the Korean people.
It starts by providing the chronology of he Korea's living history, important turning points in people's daily lives.

Something caught my eyes here, there are the "Three Kingdoms" era in Korea as well. It refers to the ancient Korean kingdoms of Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla, which dominated the Korean peninsula and parts of Manchuria for much of the 1st millennium CE. So it is not the "Three Kingdoms - Wei (魏), Shu (蜀), and Wu (吳) back in China.

I like the phoenix sculpture of this artifact.

It is known as the art and antique district whereby there are dozens of shops selling art supplies, and handicrafts here. This is one of the best place to grab some souvenirs for your friends and family.

I was lucky to be able to watch the semi final of the Taekgyeon tournament 2010.
This is the first time I heard of Taekgyeon, it is totally different from Taekwondo which I've learnt during secondary school.

I'm not sure how special the ice cream is, but they are indeed popular since it can be found at every corner of Insadong.

Koreans do believe in fortune telling ..

Here comes the part 2 of the trip. Since it is a business trip, I only manage to visit Gyeongbokgung and Insadong in Seoul. Here are the photos taken in Gyeongbokgung, the oldest palace of the Joseon Dynasty.

Should have posted this last month but I was just too busy to get this up.
For a start, compilation of the nice foods I took in Korea.

Some common foods, fried crab sticks, fried prawns and something special - fried ginseng.

Steamboat for 2, ₩22000 (~ RM70). Serves with kimchi, rice, potatoes, mushrooms, pork ribs etc.

Unagi (^.^) ....
I've never eat so many unagi in a single meal.

Some display found in food court. The price ain't cheap though.

This is one the background music played in the drama "Pages of Treasure".
I came across with the piano version on youtube last year. The melody was beautiful and I decided to convert and store it into my phone as ringtone.

Somehow my sister found out about it and used it as message tone on her phone as well.
And guess what, now not only my sister but some of her friends are using the same message tone as I did. Sometimes, it may ends up all of us checking our hp for message when this music is played .... ^.^

I couldn't remember who is the person who played and uploaded the piano version on youtube.

If you search for "love song on piano pages of treasure" on youtube. You will be surprised to find out that there are so many similar clips available.

Streamyx Speed Upgrade

My brother just did the streamyx speed upgrade from 1Mbps to 2Mbps last month.
He has to pay RM130 / month for the upgrade.

However I just do not see any improvement after the upgrade.
In fact, I felt it has become even slower.
Now, I couldn't even stream any movie on PPStream with the laggy connection.

My brother did the speed test after the upgrade through the speedometer feature on the streamyx main page, the results looked good.
Somehow this feature is not available now, so I did the speed test on http://www.speedtest.net/ instead.

Well this is what streamyx offer for RM 130 / month ...

It is not even half of the speed as stated in the package.This is definitely not acceptable.
For all streamyx users, pls do your speed test to make sure that you are getting what you have paid.
We are going to complain about this, let's see how TMnet is gonna get back to us. Btw, they still owe us a cordless phone which comes together with the package. >"<

第一次在电台听到这首歌就非常的喜欢它的旋律。
《爱与不爱》收入在黄威爾的最新专辑《aLive 爾来福》。
在还没听到这首歌之前，我根本不晓得谁是黄威爾。

Do notice the producer - Kurt Schneider. He is a producer and a film maker. It is he who came out with the nice MV here. 多年离乡背井，已经渐渐的让我习惯独自一个人的生活。

渐渐的我好像觉得自己与家人的距离慢慢的疏远了。

家里发生了许多事情，往往都是最后一个得知。

家人所面对的问题，往往都是在解决后我才知晓。

他们可能是不想在外工作的我为了家里的事而担忧。

可是心里面总觉得，身为家庭的一份子，应该为这个家负起责任。

而让我觉得矛盾的是，我其实还蛮享受独自在外的生活。

我内心仍然向往着外面的世界，一些我从未接触过的事物与生活。

Funny Sales Promoter at PC Fair

Today I went to Pikom PC Fair in PISA. There I met this funny sales promoter. He is suppose to promote a "HDMI Player" - something similar to those rmvb/dvix player which support HDMI output for HD quality movie. The funny part is the video being played on the LCD panel beside it was simply crappy. Out of curiosity I went forward and ask this guy :

me : boss, this clip resolution so bad 1, can change to another clip ar?

promoter : o.. the clip is not source from this player, it is coming from my laptop through the VGA port, that's y quality is low lo...

me : lidat ar... can u switch to the HDMI output from this player ar ? wanna see the quality of the player ma...

promoter : o .. the HDMI player output is already connected to here. However it was connected through RGB cable so the video not that nice oso lar ...

(he was pointing to a small crt tv next to the player)

me : ... errrr... can connect the HDMI output to the LCD instead ar? Like this hard to see the performance ler ....

DRM (Digital Right Management)doesn't mean just basic copy-protection of digital content (like ebooks, MP3s or DivX videos), but it basically means full protection for digital content, ranging from delivery to end user's ways to use the content.

I came across with this term a few years back while searching for some games over the internet. Some of the example of DRM is to limit the number of time of installation (eg. after 3x installation u can throw ur ORIGINAL disc to the trashcan ⌐_⌐b), only allow installation on a single PC (this sounds more reasonable), activation through internet (as usual), etc.

Assassin's Creed II was launched lately and Ubisoft has announced their DRM for this game. Players need to create an account at the Ubisoft server (a lot of games have already implemented this). Here come something new, in order to play the game, players need to be constantly connected to the internet. Meaning that if ur internet connection is down, ur game will be paused until the connection is recovered. If not u will lost all your progress and need to restart at ur last save point as the save files are stored in the server as well.

You pay for the game and yet u are only allow to play it whenever u have the internet connection ready. This sounds kind of sucks coz u will not be able to play the game which is "owned" by u when anyone of these happen :

ISP down, this always happened in M'sia ..

Ur housemate or whoever sharing the internet with you start up an application which eat up most of the bandwidth while u r playing the game ..

You installed it on ur laptop (so that u can play the game anywhere especially when u r going for outstation), but u couldn't find any internet connection in the hotel u r staying in

Ubisoft server down ... lolz ... just like playing online games, the only diffrent is I did not pay for the game disc which cost ~ RM200

I'm not saying that DRM should not be implemented, but looking from another perspective, this can kill the sales of the product as well. I wouldn't like it in the 1st place if I pay for the product yet I still don't really own it. In this case I rather go for pirated version (which i always do regardless of DRM :p)

It has been quite some time since the last time I listen to any Japanese or Korean songs. Lately I was watching "Family Outing Season1" - a Korean variety show. I found this album from the show - Eleventh Story by Kim Jong Kook.

I came to know about Kim Jong Kook a few years back when I was watching Xman and Love Letter (Korean variety shows as well). Initially, I only knew that he is a singer and has great physique. I was surprised when I listen to his song for the 1st time. The way he speaks is totally different from the way he sings. Can never imagine that he can sing in such high pitch.

Eleventh Story is his 6th album. It is the 1st album released after he came back from the national service (not sure what they call it in Korea :p). Here are some of my favorite songs from the album.

This is my favorite song in the album. The official MV is not released yet. Here is the fan made MV featuring the Kookri couple (Kim Jong Kook and Lee Hyori in Family Outing).

Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep

I was so busy for the last week, a lot of works need to be done before CNY as I'm off for the whole week. Finally, I have some time here to update the blog.

The 1st entry for today is the release of Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep. It is the latest series of Kingdom Hearts. Featuring Thera (first appearance in Kingdom Hearts 2 - Final Mix as the strongest keyblade wielder in the game.) It told the origin of the Kingdom Hearts, way before Sora was chosen to become the Keyblade master. The time when King Mickey was still an apprentice.

As for those who have no idea on Kingdom Hearts, here is some background. Kingdom Hearts was a game developed by Squaresoft (now aka Square-Enix) and Disney. It brought the characters from the famous Final Fantasy series and Disney together. Imagine fighting alongside with Donald, Goofy, Squall, Cloud, Aladin, and Mickey, journeying to all the fantasy world of Disney - the Wonderland, Agrabah, Port Royal from Pirates of the Carribean etc. This was a great idea brought by Sqaure and the game has made a great breakthrough in the gaming world. After the ~10 years, there has been more than 5 games featuring Kingdom hearts being released in the market.

Here comes the latest game form the Kingdom Hearts series - Birth By Sleep for the PSP. It will be next year then the English version will be released. It is fine for me for playing the Japanese version, however my PSP was "brick" since the last time I upgraded the firmware. >_< Hopefully there is still some chance for me to "unbrick" it .. T_T

The theme song is once again performed by Utada Hikaru, one of my favorite Japanese Artist. (^_^)

聽說 (TVB《戀愛星求人》主題曲)- Steven Ma 馬浚偉

This is the theme song for the recent TVB drama "Cupid Stupid" (戀愛星求人).
The song title is "聽說", sing by Steven Ma (馬浚偉).

Heard that this drama is an oversea release, meaning that not even HK TVB is broadcasting it now. In Malaysia, those who subscribe for the Astro On Demand will have the privilege of watching this drama ahead of the Hongkies ... (it makes no difference for me anyway :p)

I've already watched the 3rd episodes, not sure the reason why the storyline was totally different from the synopsis. So I'm not going to post the synopsis here.

Somehow this show reminds me of "Return Of The Cuckoo" (《澳門街》 or 《十月初五的月光》), even though Steven Ma is the only main character in common.

当郑中基刚出道时就非常喜欢他的歌，但随着许多负面新闻，他的人气，事业深陷谷底。
过后，郑中基以谐星的形象再度翻身。一提起郑中基就会联想起《美女厨房》，《龍咁威2003》，《我要做Model》、《喜馬拉雅星》等等。

可是最令我印象深刻的还是他的歌声。从《左右为难》、《戒情人》、《絕口不提！愛你》、《時間人物地點》、《晴天.陰天.雨天》；到后期的《无赖》、《闭目入神》、《三生有幸》、《答应不爱你》以及这首《我代你哭》都是我非常喜欢的歌曲。

第一次听到《我代你哭》是在看《龍咁威2003》，当时就非常喜欢这首歌的旋律。后来才发现原来《我代你哭》是由郑中基亲自作曲。

Come across with this stupid problem with Windows Vista.

This is what happen when I tried to delete my mp4 file.

okok ... I'll just click continue as you wish ...

WTH .... I'm lack of permission to delete this file even though I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR!!!!!

And the same thing happens in command prompt @#$@#%%**

Unlocker may help if you are only dealing with small amount of file.

Here is a solution I got from the web and it works fine on my pc.

1) Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open.

2) Then, Close all open programs.
3) Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE
4) Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe.
5) Leave Task Manager open.
6) Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the MP4 (or other undeletable file) is located in.
7) At the command prompt type DEL where is the file you wish to delete.
8) Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell.
9) Close Task Manager.

I wonder who design the security system for Vista and created this kind of stupid problem. May be it is time go for Windows 7.

Treasure Hunter

I have already heard many poor reviews and comments regarding Jay Chow's new film "Treasure Hunter". Anyway, since I'm bored after work, I was thinking, why not give it a try? It may not be as bad as those reviews or comments. Well, it proves me wrong. When there is 50/50 good and bad comments, you may give it a try. When there isn't any good comment at all, never try your luck.

The storyline was poor (to be more precise - LAME !!!)

Someone got killed because of a treasure map, who is behind it? no one knows...

Someone is trying to kill everyone who sees the map for no reason.

In the end more than hundred people own the map and this someone just disappear.

Hundred of masked rider (not the famous Japanese masked rider) demolished an inn for no reason (again), trying to kill some guys for no reason (again!!!!), and give up in the end (wth)....

The great legendary "Desert Eagle" appears, what a nice nick and in the end does nothing and does not even related to the main storyline...

Poisonous Bats that suck bloods from the corpse, wow there are so many of them, and you guys just got teleported into the tomb w/o encountering them!!!??? Why do you want to mention it in the 1st place? And a tornado that can teleport you into a tomb? ... That is something new ...@##$@#&$

What about the traps within the tomb? This should be the most exciting part about treasure hunting, solving puzzle, disarming traps. Another big disappointment, now I know that a golf club is strong enough to jam multiple huge gears ... and there is only one single trap inside the the ancient tomb ... and you need not to solve puzzle in order to find the tomb, coz u got teleported into the tomb w/o knowing it...

Nothing to complain about the fighting / action scenes, pretty well done but nothing extraordinary as well. You can find similar stuffs in any action movie nowadays.

Alright for those guys who wanna see Chi-Ling in action. Spoiler here, the so call sexy scene only last for less than 5s and I don't see any cleavage... lol!!

我们从历史上，就看到了人类都在犯着同样的错误。战争，贪污，等等到今时今日依然存在。不但没有好转，甚至变本加厉。

两年前的我做了一个决定，到如今依然不知是否做对了选择。
只是觉得既然已经决定了就不要再后悔。

两年后我面对着类似的决定，竟然有举棋不定的感觉。
是衡量的东西多了吗？到最终，这一次和两年前的做法并没什么不同。
是因为我畏惧改变吗？

看来一次的经验并不能令人变得聪明，或许我资质有限，不能从中学习。
既然两年前的我可以承受得起这个决定所带来的一切利与弊，现在的我应该也担当得起。
只是觉得，是否要与之前有所不同才可以称为成长呢？

Normally we can find donation boxes located near cashier counters in supermarket or fast food restaurant. Have you ever notice what is written on the box? Any idea if there is any sticker or slogan labeled on the box?

I noticed this slogan and a picture of a children on the donation box in McD this afternoon.

Thanks to skyip, I've been watching quite a numbers of Taiwanese drama lately.It is kind of fun to watch the Taiwanese drama, the storyline are quite funny and touching. You will be laughing most of the time. I'm not sure why I don't feel like watching the TVB drama "Beyond The Realm Of Conscience (宮心計)" and "Born Rich (富贵门)". A lot of my friends highly recommended these two. Somehow I think the storyline should be similar to "金枝玉孽". People are just concern about themselves in order to survive, to obtain power, wealth, etc. And then it follows by a series of conspiracy, revenge, bla bla bla ...

I'm thinking of watching this Jdrama instead. The name is "Jin - 仁".

Synopsis :
The story follows a brain surgeon named, Minakata Jin, who has spent the last two years in anguish, as his fiancee lies in a vegetative state after an operation he performed. One day, he faints at the hospital and awakens to find himself transported back in time to the Edo period. He is soon attacked by a samurai, but he escapes with the help of a man named Kyotaro. Kyotaro suffers a serious injury to the head while trying to protect him, but Jin manages to save his life despite a lack of proper medical equipment. Because of that, Kyotaro's sister Saki begins taking an interest in Jin and becomes his assistant. Meanwhile, Jin is determined to find a way back to the present.

Anyway back to business, a lot of things happen lately and seriously I was at my worst condition ever. For the first time, I let my emotion take over myself in the office. It never happen ever since I start working. Thanks for the 3 days long weekend , I've got myself to calm down and reconsider my direction in the future.

1) Penang parking style ... I can tell you that most of the parking lot were occupied at that time and cars were actually queuing up starting from the entrance of the car park.

2) Not sure if you guys try this before, engrave the name of yours and your love one on a tree or mayb cactus? As I can remember, I did it once back in secondary school, may be primary school (dun actually remember when was it). Surprisingly I still can find something similar nowadays.

3) Thanks to this, I've parked my car starting from 8am to 1.30pm without paying a single cent... (^_^)

第二次开花的风信子

看来被skyip说中了，看多偶像剧会中毒哦 (:p)。最近一连看了几部偶像剧，从《痞子英雄》到《命中注定我爱你》，现在我连《败犬女王》都看了。偶尔看下偶像剧也蛮不错哦，至少心情也会愉快些。记得在看第一集的《败犬女王》就觉得这套剧应该是超级耍白痴的吧！想不到看着看着也蛮有不错，今天刚看了第八集。内容提到了让风信子第二次开花的答案。

觉得自己最近非常的不对劲，无论是性格上或是生活上都有少许的改变。
平时爱玩电脑游戏的我，在最后一次format电脑后就再也没有安装任何游戏了。
平时会在公司加班到深夜的我，现在只要想到加班就会头痛，甚至可以说是讨厌加班。
每当新的漫画出版时，我总会买上一两本，现在的我反而觉得在网上看漫画已经足够了。

之前为了剪接参加quarterly event的短片还不以为然，每天放工后仍然觉得过得很充实。
Event已经结束了，奖金也拿到了，然而却有种空虚的感觉。
看着书架上未看完的小说，却完全提不起劲的要把它看完。

生活上好像少了些东西，放工后，除了上网、看报纸、看连续剧、听歌之外我到底还可以做些什么呢？

UTMKL Gathering in Penang

It has been so long since the last time where the UTMKL folks meet up. Finally it happens today, the 1st UTMKL Gathering in Penang (hopefully we will have more in the future). Only 6 of us turn up, 5 of us from the same batch and 1 is our senior. We lost contact for the rest of the folks in Penang, I did remember there should be more than 6. Anyway, it was an enjoying session, looking back at life in university, all the fun and sorrow that we have been through.

Things sure change a lot comparing to the university lifestyle. We are getting more mature (older as well :p), some of us got married, some started their own business. 6 engineers , each of us with different ambitions , walks a different path. It is hard to believe that once we were so close and together we share the same goal, working hard all the way through all the ups and downs in our study.

Tomorrow will be the last day for Eddie in Penang. He will be moving back to Klang this coming Saturday. After 2 1/2 years working in the same company, we hardly meet up or talk to each other not until we moved to building 3. It is kind of sad that there will be one UTMKL folk less in Penang. Anyway, all the best in your new career and take care my friend.

Seems like everybody is moving towards their own goal. Somehow I think that I'm a bit slow in pace compare to them . It is time to move on.

面具

记得以前在上心理科时曾经看过这样的一个理论，人是自我保护意识蛮重的生物。没有一个人可以毫无保留的将自己最真实的一面呈现在社会上。每个人都带着一副面具，无论是普通朋友或是最要好的朋友，这副面具都从来未被摘下过。唯一不同的是面具的透明度。
或许说人总有私隐吧，每个人都有不想让人知道的一面，隐藏在面具下最真实的一面。

最近也在想着，如果有一天，我真的摘下了面具，身边的朋友会如何看我呢？我还是否可以在这社会上生存呢？毕竟现实生活中有着许许多多的情况是不容许你呈现出最真实的自我。这就是所谓的 “见人说人话，见鬼说鬼话”。当你发现一个人在不经意间曝露了比较丑陋的一面时，你就会发现到现实的可怕。讽刺的是本身的自我保护意识也会在不经意间把自己面具的透明度大大的减少。是否所谓的社交就是从虚伪开始呢？

忽然想起了之前看过的一部电影，电影提到了男女朋友的认识是从发现到彼此的优点开始。慢慢的再发现彼此的缺点，在没有包容的情况下，爱也因为发现的缺点越多而逐渐的减少。假设如果从一开始就知道彼此的缺点，然后再慢慢的认识彼此的优点，那该多好。然而在现实中，人就是尽量把自己缺点隐藏的生物，这个理论也永远没有实践的机会。

早上闲来没事，就在网上胡乱的逛。偶然的看到这一则娱乐新闻。阿牛执导的电影《初戀紅豆冰》将在明年农历新年上映。演员阵容可以说是大马歌手班底，导演阿牛、曹格、梁静如、品冠、易杰齐、戴佩妮、张栋梁等。女主角更找来影后李心洁。光良因为档期的问题而辞演。

《后青春期的诗》 - 九把刀 x 五月天

上个月在书店闲逛时，不经意的走向九把刀的书架。平时都是在网上阅读他的小说，从未真正地拿着他的作品，仔细地阅读。在书架上排满着《杀手》系列，《猎命师》传奇，当然少不了就把刀的爱情系列。原本是想购买一、两本较出名的小说，忽然让我发现了这本《后青春期的诗》。之前在部落各也曾经推荐过五月天的这首《后青春期的诗》，想不到竟然还有小说而且作者还是九把刀。

故事情节并不是很精彩所以就省略咯。
先说书本的设计，就如下图所显示。书的封面插图并不是很雅观，甚至可以说是“样衰” :p.

I came across this commercial last week back in Subang while having a "yam cha " session with my friends. This was a great vid and yet I still find ppl around me laughing at this commercial while it was broadcast. Some of them were even holding a cigarette in their hand. Not sure how effective this commercial to the public, at least not effective enough for the youngsters. For me, this is definitely the best anti-smoking commercial I have ever seen. I'll definitely quit smoking if I'm a smoker.

2 weeks ago, I got a long weekend with the National Day falls on Sunday. It was suppose to be a great chance to go back to Subang, spend some time with family and hang out with friends. Due to some circumstances, the trip was canceled and I had to spend the whole weekend alone in Penang.

I thought it was going to be work, sleep and back to work routine again throughout the weekend. Surprisingly, SC and PS who were interns in Altera sms me. They were spending their weekend on the island. Thanks to them I got someone to accompany me for the night.

We went to Coffee Island at Gurney Drive. I've heard of this place for so many times and yet to have a chance to pay a visit. I've read through some of the food blogs over the internet. There are a lot of complaints about their foods and services. Anyway I decided to give it a try. Since the place is always so happening , there must be something about it.

Alright, some comments from a ciplak blogger here :p . The Ice Blended Vietnam Coffee is errr ~~ seriously nothing special. Next, NEVER order satay, trust me you will regret if you do so. The sauce was terrible and and the meat tasted like paper (>_<). Luckily they served quite fast, the foods were served within 15 mins after we placed our order.

The second surprise of the day, I met with Elle and JC who were spending the weekend in Penang at Coffee Island. They were my friends from Subang. Seems like I did make a good choice by choosing this place.. (^_^). At least I did meet some of my old friends even though I missed the chance the go back to Subang.

Next destination was Church Street. I thought that I was finally able to taste the famous snow-beer. Too bad, there isn't any cups left. We ordered Heineken instead. Congratz to SC for her first drinking session and the 1st mug of beer in her life..even though she insisted not to drink in the 1st place.... (how could you escape from drinking when going out with demon .. wakakakaka) In fact, she finished her shares even faster than I did .. ( girls nowadays .. haiz .. :p)

There goes the fun part of the long weekend. Just one night, I did enjoy myself, the rest is all back to boring working life. Thank SC and PS for the night and WY for joining us as well. Looking forward for the next time visit, for the next time I'll surely get you guys Chivas. (^_^)
