Google have just launched the Chromebook recently and they are indeed pushing it for the coming holiday season. Err..  wouldn't it a bit too late for a Chromebook while the market is full of tablets ? Well looking at the specs , I don't think I'll be interested to get any of the models. An iPad looks more promising in this case. However the promotion videos look really hilarious ... My brother just did the streamyx speed upgrade from 1Mbps to 2Mbps last month. He has to pay RM130 /  month for the upgrade. However I just do not see any improvement after the upgrade. In fact, I felt it has become even slower. Now, I couldn't even stream any movie on PPStream with the laggy connection. My brother did the speed test after the upgrade through the speedometer feature on  the streamyx main page, the results looked good. Somehow this feature is not available now, so I did the speed test on http://www.speedtest.net/ instead. Well this is what streamyx offer for RM 130 / month ... It is not even half of the speed as stated in the package.This is definitely not acceptable. For all streamyx users, pls do your speed test to make sure that you are getting what you have paid. We are going to complain about this, let's see how TMnet is gonna get back to us. Btw, they still owe us a cordless phone which comes together with the package. >"...

DRM (Digital Right Management)doesn't mean just basic copy-protection of digital content (like ebooks, MP3s or DivX videos), but it basically means full protection for digital content, ranging from delivery to end user's ways to use the content. I came across with this term a few years back while searching for some games over the internet. Some of the example of DRM is to limit the number of time of installation (eg. after 3x installation u can throw ur ORIGINAL disc to the trashcan ⌐_⌐b), only allow installation on a single PC (this sounds more reasonable), activation through internet (as usual), etc. Assassin's Creed II was launched lately and Ubisoft has announced their DRM for this game. Players need to create an account at the Ubisoft server (a lot of games have already implemented this). Here come something new, in order to play the game, players need to be constantly connected to the internet. Meaning that if ur internet connection is down, ur game will be paused...

Come across with this stupid problem with Windows Vista. This is what happen when I tried to delete my mp4 file. okok ...  I'll just click continue as you wish ... WTH .... I'm lack of permission to delete this file even though I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR!!!!! And the same thing happens in command prompt @#$@#%%** Unlocker may help if you are only dealing with small amount of file. Here is a solution I got from the web and it works fine on my pc. 1) Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open. 2) Then, Close all open programs. 3) Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE 4) Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe. 5) Leave Task Manager open. 6) Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the MP4 (or other undeletable file) is located in. 7) At the command prompt type DEL where is the file you wish to delete. 8) Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell. ...

Normally we can find donation boxes located near cashier counters in supermarket or fast food restaurant. Have you ever notice what is written on the box? Any idea if there is any sticker or slogan labeled on the box? I noticed this slogan and a picture of a children on the donation box in McD this afternoon. I came across this commercial last week back in Subang while having a "yam cha " session with my friends. This was a great vid and yet I still find ppl around me laughing at this commercial while it was broadcast. Some of them were even holding a cigarette in their hand. Not sure how effective this commercial to the public, at least not effective enough for the youngsters. For me, this is definitely the best anti-smoking commercial I have ever seen. I'll definitely quit smoking if I'm a smoker.

Sony finally announced the next generation of PSP - PSP-Go. The PSP-Go is 40% lighter and 50% smaller compare to the existing PSP3000. Have you ever encounter this error msg b4 when you try to delete a folder or mayb a file ? The file or folder are locked due to some applications or programs that are accessing it. This is stopping you from deleting it. The workaround is to terminate the specific programs or applications. This is similar to the case whereby you are unable to remove the external USB flash memory. The thing which I hate the most is that you knew the folder is locked but you just couldn't tell which applications is locking it. Here comes the worst case, it is locked by some programs / applications running at the background which you don't even notice unless you bring up the task manager. And even if you do so, you will most probably just seeing bunch of processes / applications. So how do you know which program to kill? Earth Hour indeed is a hot topic recently. Since I'll be going back to Subang tmr, I'm wondering if my mom agrees to switch off the light for an hour? Hehehehe.. Anyway I'm still thinking of what should I do within this one hour of darkness (if my mom say yes ^_^). I always find it is convenient to upload the photo through blogspot. You need not to worried about the tedious html code. When I slowly catch up with some coding knowledge in html .. I started to feel that uploading photo through Flickr or others image hosting website is much better. The blogspot server will resize your picture . You may end up clicking the picture in order to have a better view (better resolution). When you resize the picture (drag it or modify the code) , the picture will eventually become blur. I was still using the blogspot uploader, until the time when I was compiling the Doraemon post . I was trying to upload 16 pages of manga. The blogspot retricted the numbers of upload to 5 each time. So I went through the process 4 times for the 16 pages. The next thing that I noticed was the picture are all resized and it was impossible to read the text.
